Chief's Message
Thank you for visiting our web page!
It is my privilege to serve the City of College Place as your chief. The men and women of the College Place Police Department are comprised of talented professionals who serve the community with pride, respect and transparency.
As Chief, I believe in strong leadership and accountability from every member of the department. We as an agency strive to be fair, courteous, timely and respectful to whom we serve and come into contact with. As a community oriented agency it is my goal to work collaboratively with members of the community to solve problems. With that in mind, keeping our community safe is everyone’s responsibility.
My priorities include being responsive to our citizens, conducting thorough criminal investigations and enforcing traffic laws to improve the quality of life within our city. We recognize our ability to serve and maintain public trust is predicated largely upon our actions. Therefore, we shall strive to earn your trust every day we serve.
Ensuring justice, protection and promoting the general welfare and security of every person are tenants our country was founded upon. These are the principles which draw each member of our agency to serve this great city.
Sincerely,
Troy Tomaras
