The Lions Park renovation project will renovate this seven acre community park that dates back to 1969. Anticipated improvements include a splash pad, walking path, pond separation from creek, disabled accessible playground, new restrooms, and more. The City is assembling grant funds. The Project has finally had all Federal and State Permits Issued. Friday, March 22nd, 2024 is the groundbreaking for this project. The construction work is expected to go through Spring 2025. We are anticipating the new park will be ready for the 2025 Farmers Market Season.  2024 activities such as Farmers Market, Movies at the Park, and such will be relocated to Kiwanis Park over by Davis Elementary School (2nd & Date).
