This function is headed by a  Fleet Manager and provides maintenance of and coordination for replacement of the City's fleet of vehicles and major equipment.

Major Activities of the Fleet Management includes:

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on all City vehicles and major equipment at proper intervals.
• Evaluate, rehab and modify vehicles and major equipment to include minor accident damage
• Oversee outside fueling services for fleet.
• Administer a fleet repair record system in order to charge City departments for work performed.
• Evaluate City vehicles and major equipment for replacement and administer bidding process for purchasing.

The Fleet Management function is located at the City Public Works Yard at 218 SE Fourth Street. The Fleet Manager is Mr. Jeff Goodson who can be reached at jgoodson@cpwa.us
