Criminal Clearance Letters
At some point in time you may find yourself in need of a Clearance Letter. This is a document that contains information about your clean criminal record. These letters are sometimes needed when applying for a visa, other travel purposes, or when adopting a child. You may request one from the Records Unit located at:
  • College Place Police Department
    625 S. College Ave.

You can receive this service in person or by mail at the address above. If you make your request by mail, you will need to include a notarized document verifying that you are the person on the identification provided. Every attempt will be made to mail your clearance letter to you within five business days from the date we receive your request.
